Stuffed peppers

Stuffed Peppers......
White rice : CANILLA long grain rice 4 cups and 5 cups of water, oil to ur liking, salt to ur taste

Beans: Red Beans 2 Goya cans ready to eat...
add culantro
add green peppers and onions (to taste)
add salt (to taste)
Olive oil (to taste)
one can of tomato sauce GOYA


Meat: ground beef 5 LBS.... i HAVE A BIG FAMILY HAHA.
Sasones: 1 tomato sauce can (GOYA)
Cubito de carne
2 pkts sazon goya
3 tablesppons of sofrito
Onions (half)
Green peppers (half of half)
3 leaves de culantro

Now you can do one of 2 things. In the picture what i did was cook the meat first and take out all the grease. Then stuff the peppers with the meat alone like in the picture... or you can mix the rice beans and meat and stuff the pepper.
Once the pepper is stuffed u bake in oven for 20 minutes more.... and voila!!!! STUFFED PEPPERS.....

Cuban Rice (Arroz con Griz)

we need:
- 4 cups of water (serves a family of 4 to 7)
- 5 cups of water
- 2 cans of black beans (Goya ready to eat)
- Chorizo (Goya)
- Sofrito
- Culantro
- olive oil
- salt
- sazon
- tomato sauce


How to
- Take a pot and coat with oil over medium to low heat
- add 2 tbs of sofrito
- add sazon (1 packet)
- add tomato sauce (1 can)
- salt to taste
- mix all of these together and now mix the beans and culantro
- let it sit for a few minutes ( mixing in between)
- add water and let it boil
- add rice
- Mix everything
- when the rice boils and the water is almost gone cover it and reduce fire to MED LOW
- after about 10 minutes ( and turning the rice) reduce to low and let it sit for 20 minutes!

Serve with chicken or any meat!

Cheddar Bacon chicken

We need..

-boneless chicken breasts lightly seasoned
-2 garlic cloves minced
-half an onion chopped
-black pepper (to taste)
-bacon bits
-cheddar cheese shredded
-olive oil

How to:
-season the breasts 
-fry them in a bit of olive oil for about 5-10 minutes.
-Remove from the pan and in the same oil add the onion, garlic, and black pepper.
-Saute until onions are soft.
-pour the mixture over the chicken, followed by the bacon bits.
-Place in the oven (350) for 20 minutes.
-A few minutes before removing add the cheese over the breasts and remove when the cheese has melted. that's it!

Rice and beans

For our first recipe we will be cooking:
white Rice
Red beans


What you need?
-(3cups)Rice
-( 1 Goya)Red or Pink beans
- sofrito (green peppers,onion,garlic,cilantro)
- Tomato sauce (1 can)
- One sazon packet
- salt
- olive oil

How to make white rice
- Boil 4 cubs of water
- Add 1tbs of salt
- Add 2 tbs of olive oil
- when water boils add rice
-reduce heat to med when water is almost gone
- let it sit on Med for about 10 minutes
- reduce to low (let it sit for 20 minutes)

How to make Spanish Beans
****saucepan needed****
- Take a pot and coat with oil over medium to low heat
- Add the garlic,green peppers,Onions let that go for a minute
- then add the sazon (1 packet)
- add one can of tomato sauce
- mix that all together well and add the cilantro and the beans
- add one cup of water
- let that simmer on low for 30-40 minutes and enjoy

** you can buy the Sazon and tomato sauce in the Spanish section of your local grocery store**
